Hi there lovlies,
Today I am reflecting on one of the busier months I’ve ever had. The funny thing is, if you told me during university days that I would be working this hard at chasing dreams, I wouldn’t of thought I was capable of pushing myself in the ways I am at the moment. Maybe it’s maturity, maybe it is more to do with being passionate about everything I’m doing right now, but I like the feeling of waking up with a enthusiasm to chase the day. In amongst the rush of trying to juggle and balance the various projects (and sometimes personas) I have going on, one of the better ways I have found to balance myself out is to take time for myself in the morning.
Making myself a decent breakfast, indulging in some good literature or staring at glossy pages of inspiration is a sure way to get the creative juices flowing, and it is made all that much sweeter when enveloped in gorgeous lingerie from NA-KD. This particular bralette is stunning because of the double clasp back, which gives it a little added interest, but I am also a huge fan of the subtle sexiness it imparts. The sheer, star-spangled mesh definitely has that peek-a-boob (sorry, I couldn’t resist) effect, but the playful blush pink shade keeps it fresh and flirty. As much as I rely on my phone to wake me up, putting it to the side and not bombarding myself with a screen first thing in the morning often puts me in a way better mood. Once my brain has switched on, only then do I allow myself to grab a gadget.
Anyone who knows me well knows that I have never been much of a morning person, and it is best to shove caffine into my system before expecting a smile. However, rolling out of bed in this number most certainly makes my mornings just that little bit sweeter, and I can promise you this: if you define your day in the morning, the path you walk through your day is that much more of a pleasure.
Let me know if you have any early morning strategies for starting your day off on the right side of the bed, I’d love to adopt some more to get me up and pumped for my days!
Lots of love,
